When Jesus was questioned about what commandment is the greatest, he responded, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

The Pacific Southwest District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod encourages a district-wide service day every fall, doing a service your school chooses, that our Early Childhood department participates in. Zion has visited nursing homes to sing for the residents, prepared a Veteran’s luncheon, and this year had an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party.
